RUCKUS WIRELESS NEWS

• We are pleased to announce the expansion of our Wi-Fi 7 reach with the introduction of two new access points:
  • RUCKUS R670: Wi-Fi 7 tri-band indoor concurrent wireless access point with 2x2 (2.4GHz) + 2x2 (5GHz) + 2x2 (6GHz) RF configuration
  • RUCKUS T670: Wi-Fi 7 tri-band outdoor concurrent wireless access point with 2x2 (2.4GHz) + 2x2 (5GHz) + 2x2 (6GHz) RF configuration

• We have just released the latest RUCKUS SmartZone™ 7.0 patch 1 which enhances the standard 7.0 version. You can find out more here.

RUCKUS ICX NEWS

• We have launched the new 10.0.20 release: BGP EVPN VXLAN, Apply an ACL to Multiple Interfaces Simultaneously and many new interesting features. You can find all the info about it in the release notes.

RUCKUS One

• The RUCKUS One™ team will be adding a new outbound http connection, http://ocsp.godaddy.com on March 27th, 2024. Make sure you add that to your firewall outbound whitelist. Look at this article for further info.
• MSP-EC authentication methods have evolved and are now exclusively based on OTP mechanism to improve security.
• Version 7.0.0.104.1404 has been released. This version will allow the use of 7.0 firmware with Wi-Fi 6 APs and benefit of great new features such as DPSK3
• MSP can now create two levels of service for MSP-EC by assigning them to an Essential or Professional Tier.

Cloudpath

• Cloudpath® 5.12R7 has been released. It supports new features such as better integration with Palo Alto, SAML authentication for administrator and sponsorship, MAC address list enhancement, and security fixes. More details here.
