The RD2322 RPD Overview and Implementation instructor-led training course presents the Distributed Access Architecture (DAA) RD3 Series RD2322 RPD (Remote PHY Device) solution. The course covers the benefits of Remote PHY, a hardware overview, Remote PHY protocols, additional features, a hands-on lab for basic configuration, and an optional lesson covering Hybrid Chassis Mode considerations.  Commands that are used to update, troubleshoot, and maintain the Remote PHY network are also covered and demonstrated.

Course Specifics

Prerequisites: A basic understanding of CATV systems, RF plant fundamentals and data networking. The student should also have DOCSIS knowledge and prior working experience with the E6000 CER.

Recommended courses taken prior to this course include: E6D201 E6000 CER Operations, TEC202 DOCSIS Basics,  TEC301 DOCSIS Essentials,  and TEC302 Understanding DOCSIS 3.1.
