Course Description:

This self-paced, web-based training course provides the business case for RUCKUS LTE technology, an Introduction to Long Term Evolution (LTE) and CBRS technology, the RUCKUS LTE hardware Product Line and a demonstration of the functions and features of the Ruckus CBRS Private LTE Management Element Management System (EMS).

• Learn about the RUCKUS LTE Technology solution
• Describe the business case of why this solution is needed
• Describe the origin of Long Term Evolutions (LTE) and the motivations for the creation of LTE
• Describe LTE architecture, LTE components, and user equipment Identity in the mobile network Describe LTE user equipment data flow, and an overview of LTE roaming
• Describe Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) similarities and differences from traditional 4G LTE services
• Explains how the shared spectrum methodology provides three tiers of access to the CBRS RF spectrum
• Describes the three tiers along with their uses and access capabilities
• Describe the role of the Spectrum Access System in CBRS operations
• Explain CBRS device types and the constraints in which they operate
• Describes the Ruckus CBRS Network Architecture and CBRS Solution offerings and the CBRS ordering process that includes how to register your account, confirm your registration, activate your purchase, apply support to your asset serial number, register your cloud region, verify your purchase and log into your account for the first time
• Describe ECGI Concepts and how to create an ECGI Record.
• Know how to add an LTE venue, LTE network and configure your SAS information for your account.
• Describe how to add an LTE AP to the Ruckus LTE AP Management Portal and verify the AP is operational
• Describe how to locate and download LTE AP Management AP Logs
• Describe how to view and export LTE AP Management KPI summary reports and plots
• Know how to add local and 3rd party administrators, configure email and SMS notifications allowing LTE Portal access to Ruckus Support and how to get licensing and SAS account information
• Know how to contact Ruckus support and open a troubleshooting ticket from the Ruckus LTE AP Management portal
• Know how to use the Ruckus SIM Management service portal to activate and de-activate SIMs you have associated with your LTE AP Management portal
